Customer Success Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on expert with data and analytics. In this role you'll support our Customer Success team with technical requests such as: data schema design, data integrations, ETL, data mapping, QA/troubleshooting, and custom report building. In addition you'll route overflow technical requests to teammates and collaborate on making customers happy! You’ll set the standard for solving tier 2 tickets, troubleshooting complex data issues and integrations. You’ll be supported by engineering (tier 3) and the Customer Success team (tier1). You will help route and prioritize tickets, and also be a hands-on contributor working actively to resolve them. You love working on tough data challenges and are experienced in building reports, data models, and writing SQL complex queries. You will monitor and report on ticket resolution metrics, and streamline our diagnostic and ticket resolution velocity. This, all while providing exceptional customer service.

Since CaliberMind is a highly analytical tool, a candidate who has worked with databases, SQL and/or BI tools will have a leg-up in this position. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, you’ll partner with our Heads of Onboarding, Engineering, and Account Management team to ensure happy customers are getting huge value from our solution!

Base Compensation: $120,000 plus based on experience.

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on the CaliberMind data model and analytical design
  • Personally handle customer support tickets, for example, QA’ing and debugging data model outputs.
  • Assign overflow tickets to your peers in customer support
  • Database field mapping and integration requirements gathering for onboarding customers.
  • Responding to customers in Slack.
  • Producing technical documentation and requirements for engineering stories.
  • Project manage custom implementations, data migrations, and integrations.
  • Manage a service portal powered by Jira (or a similar tool)
  • Working closely with customers and internal teams to maintain visibility into product performance and customer feedback.
  • Proactively help to resolve issues promptly while minimizing customer churn.

Ideal Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or other relevant coursework.
  • 5+ years experience working with data in a professional environment
  • Expert-level understanding of analytics-- especially pertaining to databases, SQL, Google BigQuery, ETL/ELT, DBT, Snowflake, Sisense, Tableau, Looker or other analytical tools.
  • Attention to detail

Bonus Points:
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or other relevant coursework.
  • Python, PySpark and other advanced computer programming languages capable of data
  • Experience working closely with B2B demand gen, marketing operations, sales operations, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Marketing Technology: Marketing Automation (Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot)
  • Familiarity with Sales Technology: CRMs (Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP)
  • Familiarity with Advertising Technology: Google Ads, AdRoll, The Trade Desk
  • 2+ years of Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting
